What is REPO Mobile?
REPO Mobile is the mobile version of the multiplayer online horror game REPO, supporting up to 6 players simultaneously. In the game, you work together to collect valuable items in haunted, spooky locations. The goal is not just to find them; you must carefully transport them and remove them without damaging them. Because you are a “retriever” — a team member tasked with finding valuable objects in dark areas and getting out alive.
Tasks and Dangers
In REPO Mobile, your mission may seem simple, but things never go as planned. Dilapidated research facilities, cursed apartments, ominous mines… Every place is a different threat. There may be an unknown entity around every corner. The places you enter are not just abandoned; they are kneaded with evil. You have to not only collect items, but also confront the sins that still roam there.
Surviving Is Not That Easy
The quests don’t just end with getting the items. Each one has its own deadly mechanics. The things that are after you are unlike anything you’ve seen before. They watch you, learn your movements, hear your voices… and can trick you. A small mistake, a tiny voice mixed in with the silence — all of them could be your end.
Some creatures only attack when your back is turned, while others appear when you think you’re safe. Sometimes you have to race against time because “something” might be coming. Environments are constantly changing; lights flicker, every step you take attracts something else.
Your character is not a superhero. He gets scared, shakes, gets out of breath, and sometimes hears voices that aren’t there. He even starts seeing things that no one else sees…
REPO Mobile Gameplay
Your main goal in each level is the same: collect valuable items and find an escape. But things don’t always stay the same. A previously safe room can become a deadly trap on your return. Some missions may require you to solve clues, find keys, or repair systems — while there’s something watching you, of course.
Resource management is of great importance. Turning on your flashlight will help you see your direction, but it will also expose you. Running fast will help you escape danger, but the noise you make will attract danger to you.
You can play alone or with up to 5 friends. Playing alone is more intimidating, but you won’t draw attention. Being in a group offers support, but it means more noise.
Controls and Systems
REPO Mobile has an intuitive but stressful control system. You move with a virtual joystick and change your view by swiping the screen. Picking up objects, opening doors, using flashlights and operating tools require precision. One wrong touch will make you an easy target.
Personal Resource Management
Your health bar doesn’t just show how many hits you’ve taken; it also tells you how much darkness has taken hold of you. Some entities don’t kill you outright; they weaken you, take control of you… or make you forget your identity.
Energy is one of the most important resources. Running, climbing, even trying not to be afraid uses energy. If energy is used up, you will slow down, be out of breath, and be more easily noticed. You may even faint… and wake up somewhere else.
Money is also important. You can buy better equipment for a new mission, you can acquire hidden objects. Masks that allow you to see invisible beings… but also masks that make you visible. Talismans that save your life once… but are you still human after that moment?
Graphics and Sound Design
REPO Mobile creates fear with darkness and silence rather than bloody visuals. Long corridors, dim lights, constantly disturbing environment designs stand out. The graphics are not overly scary, but the atmosphere challenges you psychologically.
Sound is the game’s most powerful weapon. There’s no background music — just footsteps, doors creaking, and breathing. Sometimes you’ll hear a whisper in your ear… but there’s no one around.
